What is FRI?

Complete Verification

FRI is the most common type of inspection to confirm the quality level of the entire shipment. Typically requires production to be finished and at least 80% of products packed in cardboard boxes.

Statistical Sampling

The verified samples are selected randomly (randomly) according to the AQL standard.

Shipment Readiness

Using a statistical method used by industry standards, we will test products to verify:

Take into account that in an FRI if an error is found, it is very difficult for the supplier to agree to change it. That is why we suggest a DUPRO inspection and finally an FRI to verify that everything is fine.

The objective of a Final Random Inspection (FRI) is to ensure that the finished products meet the required quality standards and specifications before shipment, minimizing the risk of defects reaching the end customer and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.

AQL Standards

How We Apply AQL

info.defect_category Description AQL Level
Critical Defects Defects that pose a safety risk or non-compliance with regulations 0%
Major Defects Defects that significantly affect the product's functionality or appearance 2.5%
Minor Defects Defects that do not significantly affect the product's functionality or appearance 4.0%

The Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) is a statistical measurement used in quality control inspections to determine the maximum number of defective items that can be considered acceptable in a sample size. It helps to ensure that the overall quality of a batch meets the specified standards.
